And with the fact that she has psoriasis I feel body care is authentic to her ~

I like her. She’s a beast in business like her mother. She knows what’s in and what’s not. The issue with her, people are tired of her. She just doesn’t take a break. Sometimes less is more. The more accessible you are the less people care to see you.

I totally agree that people are tired of her and her lack of authenticity! Rihanna is a great example of a celeb who is constantly releasing new products, expanding categories, and creating new beauty brands. However, it feels authentic. Consumers get a sense that she's not only part of the process from the early stages but that it fills a void for herself. I don't get that sense at all with Kim, because I don't believe she even uses her products, let alone is creating something good/helpful for consumers.

It really never made sense for her to launch these brands so disjointedly. Beauty is SO Kim, but we all know she's not using her own skincare products to get her results and Mario has always been her makeup guy - and he already has his own amazing brand. Merging things under the SKIMS umbrella is a step in the right direction, but agreed, she needs to shutter the makeup/skincare and focus on body care instead.
